Question though, why is it acceptable to have say, a glass of wine in front of the tv but not whilst browsing the internet.

Exaclty - PC is better than TV, at least there's human interaction then. Actually, I don't own a TV because it's rubbish.

Just drunk a couple of glasses of South African Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon. Not a bad drop of Red wine TBH. 14% though

I go by 14% and above as a rule when choosing reds. And Cabernet Shiraz is an excellent blend.

my other half has got me 4 litres of white 7.5% cider from nettos for 3 quid so having a bottle of that ,i know pretty rough stuff but its well chilled and better than nowt i suppose

Grenache. First time I've gone for a straight one without it being a blend. Good start and middle but little finish in comparison. Still quite enjoyable.

Well, I was going to go out tonight but for a couple of reasons I haven't. And I think I made the right decision.

Gah, I have ran out of Leffe 9.

We used to get some really good stuff at the Sainsburys round here a couple of years ago - Leffe Radieuse, Chimay Blue, Tripel Karmeliet... and now they've thrown it all in for normal, standard lager beers. Big shame... thankfully I've got a great specialist German beer shop down the road \o/

Just cracked open a

JD proving, once again, that it's the classiest whiskey.

Côtes du Rhône, grenache/shiraz/cinsault/mourvèdre. Blends are the only way to go, and as long as they've got shiraz in them I'm happy.
