The **Now Drinking** Thread

Having a wee nip of 'Sotol Hacienda De Chihuahua Anejo' before bed. It's really lovely stuff. Though, I think I might pick up a bottle of Mezcal this week to see if I can taste the differences between Sotol, Tequila and Mezcal.

Enjoy Ahleckz - also, I recently bought a bottle of Fettercain Fasque which being a fellow whisky aficionado I thought you also might appreciate. It's a lovely malt and one I'd recommend dude. :D

Did we speak about that recently elsewhere? I just google'd it and I've been to a few of those websites.
I must say, I've been neglecting my whisky drinking of late (at least, at home - been frequenting The Pot Still on Hope Street quite a lot - it's a few doors down from one of my places of work!). I think I'll get a bottle or two this week, probably something cheapish from ASDA and something nicer from my specialist shop (Good Spirit Co). Still need to try that Monkey Shoulder, a few people have sung its praises on here. If I see it for £23 or so, I'll grab one. ASDA didn't have anything on offer today, but hopefully something comes on tomorrow.

As for my drink, I think it's awful that people don't drink Tequila as they do a whisky/cognac. But instead destroy it with salt and lemon and assume it'll be awful. Buy a nice one, pour it into a snifter and enjoy it!
