The **Now Drinking** Thread

Bought a pack of Asian beers that I'm quite enjoying, drinking something called Sun Lik Beer at the moment looks like this tastes quite good.

As for Stella its not bad, many better beers to be fair though
 
**** all because everyone at home only drinks once a week, i live in the middle of ****ing nowhere so have to drive everywhere and everyone is on holiday/working.

I want to be back at uni :(

It's the only lager I like to drink... I'll drink whatever's on tap, be it Kro, Tennants, Fosters or Grolsch, but given the choice, im a Stella man. No "other half" so im safe that way.

I do prefer the normal one though. And I'll never touch Budweiser or Millers - beer flavoured water.
 
stella tastes chemically to me..

Anyway, I have Fosters at the moment but I bought some bulmers today so I'll be sampling some of that later.

Just pondering if cider will go with pizza for tea and I'm guessing not..

Wife is out.. these questions are important!
 
...matt100 get the cider well chilled .... then get a pint glass .... third filled with ice ... then pour it sloooowly .... sit back ... sip .... and burn your mouth on the hot pizza ;)
 
mate I've got the glass and ice sorted... just not sure something fairly sweet would mix.. one way or another its getting drunk tonight.

So am I :)
 
I would just have some iced water with the pizza and then enjoy it the way jester mentioned tonight... get a good movie on at about 11pm and enjoy the cider with it!
 
Only reason I ask is that I don't really Stella at all...however I used to just be snobby and say it was disgusting **** beer etc...but have recently discovered that it's actually got a nice flavour and tastes more quality than I gave it credit for...I'm sure people will shoot me down for saying this...

Yet it's still just not my preference. It seems to be somewhat of a marmite equivalent here? People love it and drink it almost religiously (not a good idea :p ), and others look down on it with disdain.
 
I've got no issue with drinking to get ****faced but my issue with stella is not the strength but the fact it tastes a bit.... fake almost?

Fosters at 4% or Stella at 5%... I'd go with the one thats a bit easier to drink so I don't have to think about what I'm drinking and just enjoy the fact I am drinking!

Bit like Becks to be honest, I find that heavy going.

Vier and Stella 4% are ok though.. I'll often get on the vier when its on tap.

TBH getting sloshed seems best on Scrumpy Jack's for me lately. 4 quid for 4 500mL cans and 3 units each, and when chilled on ice it tastes quite good and refreshing IMO. Just have to remember to get a good liter or 2 of water in me before I go to bed so I feel ok after 6-7 hours of sleep.

BTW people just a tip, I've been drinking 1 or 2 packets of Emergen-C along with water before I go to sleep after a night out...it really does help the way you feel the next day. It's quite good stuff and should not upset your stomach. A nice little nutrient replenishing while you sleep.

I find the cranberry and raspberry flavours best.

... I'd feel cheated of that ooooh never not ever ever again feelin then .... besides I'd be way to ' drunk ' to remember even buyin the damn things never mind taking them ....
