The first night I've caught myself thinking a beer would be nice.. well that's 1 week down of the 6 month abstaining from alcohol..

Think it's going to be... hot peach cordial or water.. :/

Annoying because I have a stock of "interesting" beers.. Goudale, 3Monts, and a few others from the north of france..

Good luck mate! Hope it comes in quick.

Had these tonight also.

All of them were nice but I think the nicest out of them all was the williams joker. Very very nice.

Close second, brewdogs 5am saint, then punk ipa.

Kraken rum and orange juice. Looks manky due to the dark rum but tastes fantastic.

Also this thread is dead? New years resolutions or am I drinking too much? Lol

Edit: Just finished that bottle of rum....

Has anyone tried Old Pulteney malt whiskey? i saw it yesterday in a shop and i am curious to try it. Bit on the expensive side for me, but if its worth it...

Old Pulteney 12 year old is a decent malt, not too demanding but pleasant enough. For the money it is good value, you can often get it for £24 in asda/tesco and amazon. The 17 year old is more expensive and by all accounts is very good, although I've not tried it yet, it's on my to buy list.

Had a few john smiths this afternoon and got 4 left for after these.

Edit: Rascal is horrible as is the honeyale, down the sink for them.

Jackhammer is legit. So good.
