Were you in the Crystal Palace last night? If not, your doppelgänger was.
Coffee.

Thatchers Katy. Yummy.
Yea, I would go back. Enjoyed it a hell of a lot more than I thought I would!

So what Opera was it?
Yum indeed.
Great stuff, glad you enjoyed it. If you need any recommendations, you know who to ask![]()

It was 'Tosca' at Glasgow's Theatre Royal. Contrary to what I've read, people were dressed up pretty well. The odd people casual clothes but by and large everyone there was dressed up which was nice. I didn't wear a tie, but if I had I wouldn't have been out of place.
Within a few minutes of the opening Act I was hooked and was really enjoying it. It's a bit weird darting your eyes to read the supertitles quickly whilst they are still singing but it's essential to follow the story.
I do begrudge paying £5 for a a glass of wine which is served in a plastic tumbler, but hey ho.
£50 a ticket is a bit too steep for me to go regularly (my mother paid last night), but I'm keen to go again. I think we're going to give the ballet a go next month though and see what that's like.
