The **Now Drinking** Thread

Tennent's, got a cheapo bottle of red wine as well which will be cracked open very shortly! Been a tough week, so having a wee drink. Haven't been drinking daily for the last 10 days. I'm not sure if that's why I'm tired all day, or because I'm working pretty hard. Mmm...

Anyone know where you can buy Jack Daniels Honey whiskey from in the UK

I don't know why the hell you would want to drink it, but whatever.

My mum really got into this stuff when we went to Ireland, I can get it at our local beer/spirits/cheese shop but it's £34.99 (robbing ********) but going to get her some now I know they sell it at TWE. Just wondered if it might be similar to the JD one, that's all.

Thank you ahleckz

Ahha! You found it! I should be getting my paws on some of their 'Ruthless' this weekend.

Rye has been a staple grain for millennia—sought after for its stubborn resilience in the field and revered for its unique flavor. Ruthless Rye IPA is brewed with rustic grains for refined flavors—combining the peppery spice of rye and the bright citrusy flavors of whole-cone hops to create a complex ale for the tumultuous transition to spring.

Looking forward to trying it, the rye should totally change the drink. They aren't very forthcoming with the hops used but hoping good things. Could maybe sort you out with a bottle if you want?

Mate that would be epic, email me through trust and we can arrange some deal. i was on there website tonight actually looking through there brews wondering how the hell would you get half of these they look fantastic, the kellerweis looks fantastic!

on the torpedo, fantastic hoppy hop bomb, piney with orange peel undertones that emphasize the floral notes, cracking bitter kick that follows the drink across the tongue, fantastic brew.

jesus, just noticed the price of stone brews, £8.29+, £96 a slab.... be a while before i try them :D will have to be a very special treat! might get my missus to get me a bottle for my birthday.

water before bed

Where's that from? I pay around £3.50-£4.50. Sure, it's expensive and I only ever do it as a treat - certainly not a regular visitor to my belly! I actually emailed Stone recently inquiring about getting hold of their beers over here, first OcUK beer bulk buy? ;)

If that Sierra Nevada is around the £4 mark, I'll pick you up a bottle as well and can sort something out. If it's stupid money, I won't bother.

Cup of tea, got so much work to do! :(

Beers of Europe is where I noticed the stone brewery ales, they had some more reasonably priced varieties but arrogant ******** seems to be one every one raves about and that came in at silly money, case of 12 for £96.50

if you had some communication with stone i would be more than happy to do a bulk buy, I take it you have a specialist near you with a great stock ? Very jealous if so lol.

Looking through beers of Europe they have a phenomenal collection, watching beer goggles reviews he had a gigantic haul from there on his trip down and it looks fantastic, I think I would actually bankrupt my self if I went there, the only thing stopping me is I have to Physically go on and order but to make it worth while I'd have to make a decent sized order.

Dog fish head also look like a well regarded brewery, have you tried any of there ale?

Coffee by the way, first day back at work this week so I need a kick start!
