The **Now Drinking** Thread

Just some fanta for me tonight, hate working weekends.
managed to get 20 330ml bottles of magners for £11 today aswell and they are sitting staring at me! :(

Just when I thought I wasn't gonna bother with a beer tonight, the better half walks in the door with a selection from M&S ...

...which one first?

Cambridgeshire Golden Ale...

... it's does indeed have a very citrus aroma almost perfume like though I'm glad to say that doesn't carry over into the flavour just as much :) Very pleasant and refreshing.

Cornish IPA....

... Oh yes pours with a lovely full head and much darker colour than the Cambridgeshire GA above. No great aroma but then again anything would seem bland after the last ale :) Taste ... quite mild actually slight hint of the hops but that's it. Pleasant enough to drink but nothing special.

Southwold Blonde Beer....

A very refreshing drink and one which I would be very happy to drink quite a few of :D Deffo my fav out of the three. Sorry not much of a write up but I'm only in from work and well it didn't last very long ;)

cambo golden ale looks intriguing, the Cornish ipa looks like one id grab off the shelf too. never thought to have a trip to my local M&S for ale before, silly really when you think about it.

Old Golden hen now.

The Cambo Golden Ale does have a heavy citrus aroma that carries right till the bottom of the glass, it does also carry over slightly into the flavour (as mentioned) but it is very refreshing :) I'm gonna try the Cornish IPA now matey :D Just for you.

EDIT: The better half works for M&S ;)

i do like a hop that follows right through the flavor beyond the bitter. id go as far as to say these are my very most favorite types of ales.
