The **Now Drinking** Thread

Is there a general Beer thread?

I had a pint at a pub and liked it; the bar lady asked 'are you sure? do you want to try some first?' and I had to explain that I like stuff like that and I wasn't expecting a Stella :p

Strange sales technique there...

Keep an eye out for Chesil, too, from the same brewery. It's a real-ale pilsner at 3.8%- absolutely gorgeous in the summer.

DBC is among my favourite breweries, and getting the chance to work there was amazing. I know what I'll be doing when I knock pubs on the head in a few years' time!

Probably assumed as I was with the Football lot, I guess they don't sell many proper beers to babyfaced looking 20 something :p I'm looking forward to trying others from DBC.

Started the morning off with my usual pint of tea. Just had my Saturday morning livener - a prairie oyster. This has become a Saturday morning staple now. It started with me having the odd one when I was particularly hungover but it gives one such a nice kick on a Saturday morning, I've taken to having one every Saturday morning now.

I'll shortly be getting the Chemex ready for my coffee to have with my bacon roll while watching Saturday Kitchen Live.
