Thought I'd give teh Black Wytch from wychwood another try in case I'd had a bit too much of stronger stuff before I tried it last time...

Definatley bland and watery lol

PLus side tho my local morissons seem to have updated their beer selection and I must say it rivals tesco's

Jacobsen Saaz Blonde Ale.... Quite light for a 7.1%'er. Not sure I'll buy it again though.

Ages since I'd had some but it served it's purpose well by helping me drift off for a lovely nights sleep..... was a touch sweet though

Had a couple of pints of Newcastle Exhibition the other night. Pubs that sell it on draught are few and far between. Lovely stuff.

I found a couple of good bargains in the local supermarket. They had 2 bottles of Pommery Louise 99 in there, which is normally about 110EUR ish? But they looked like odd bottles they had left, and the label was ripped at the back, but picked it up for 50EUR. Bargain.

Also got a bottle of Laurent Perrier, which also looked like it was from a leftovers batch, which is fine for me, normally 45EUR, got it for just over 20.

Good weekend drinking. Nailed a few nice reds too.

Yup I've tried that. In Weatherspoons right? Quite strong from memory.

Currently rehydrating with some standard water. Few too many coffees today has left me more than a little parched.
