Bombay Sapphire gin with Schweppes tonic water, crushed ice and a slice of lime.

Doesn't top the G&T I had in York last weekend at the rather euphemistically named Whippet Inn, which was comprised of Slingsby gin, Fever Tree tonic water, blueberries, a slice of grapefruit and ice.

Nice brews there Kenny, you're right about an abundance of good beer shops at the minute. The Goat is probably my favourite in the area but got a special bit of my heart reserved for Good Spirits.

Yeah i love a trip to the goat now and again, very handy that i work 5 mins walk away

Hippo is great shout too, click and collect on the website is very handy.

Spirits over beer?

Good Spirits Company on Bath Street. They've just opened a beer and wine shop round the corner as well. If you've never been into either, you must!

I rated Hippo when they opened, but they don't seem to get anything particularly interesting in anymore. Last few times I've been in I've just got my usual daily beers.

Do they have a good selection of interesting beers? Must try and pop in next time im in the city center.

Really want to try the new Doghouse in merchant city, heard some good reviews about it.

Woke up at 7:30 for some stupid reason :/ Drinking a nice new coffee I picked up from Hasbean on the recommendation of uv (this). Pretty tasty though I'd prefer to be asleep.
