The **Now Drinking** Thread

Canned draught guinness, down the bar earlier with a mate who heads back to iraq on sunday. Quite a few halfs of jamiesons and ice knocked in tonight. No coke for a mixer as im trying to cut down on my sugar intake.

that's my plan for the next few months - stay off the bev.

Admit I had just one Tsing Tau at the chinese restaurant last night with the mrs for the valentines dinner. Also had a lemonade.. but managed to avoid a quick one whilst waiting for the Eurostar back on thursday.. that would have been a 8-9% flandres job! Only 4 months to go..

Had a cracking beer from Cloudwater, Double IPA v2.

If I died and went to heaven, I'd expect this to be the drink at the Pearly gates.

Oh for a bottle of Goose Island

I've taken turmeric in hot milk with honey when I have a sore throat. Is yours medicinal too, or just for the taste?... it sounds interesting anyway.

For me, right now... some Tesco's own brand Ginger Wine.

Because I got rejected - beer :D French beer..

Triple Secret des Moines 8%. Paris bronze metal winner 2014. 33 cl bottle.

Not as fizzy as 3 Monts or Gourdale. Leave for a month in the bottle to allow yeast to settle - then pour carefully. Not much head time, lovely caramel colour and tastes much like Woodfords Wherry home brew but 8% with smoother taste. Quite a UK taste compared to the typical french beer.
