You should try Dorothy Black from Home Bargains if you haven't already. It's absolutely wonderful.My wife bought me some Mulligan's stout from Aldi the other day, I wasn't expecting much but it's genuinely lovely stuff. Bit less creamy than Guinness but more flavour and I think I prefer it.

I won a competition last week for a selection of 36 bottles of local ales by a brewery called Country Life so I'm currently working through those. So far I've had two, one was drinkable but not my preference, the other I quite enjoyed.
