I’m going through a Non Alcoholic phase.
As someone who loves decent wine/beer I’m prepared for it being tough and have ordered a shed load of NA varieties.
My main issues with the beers are the slight chemical aftertaste I seem sensitive to.
I’ve tried the majority of the options and currently the Aguilas sin filtrar is my go to. However I’ve ordered around 20 cans of various IPA options from various breweries.
Yesterday I took delivery of 5 red wines and a sparkling. I’ve tried some reds from Waitrose years ago which were awful so not holding out too much hope.
Today I opened the sparkling. It’s by Oddbird and is a Blanc de blanc. It’s actually very drinkable. Not cheap at €15 a bottle and probably a bit too sweet for my taste, but as a champagne alternative on a sunny day it’s a definite option.

That sounds like an actual wine that I might want to drink! Tempting to give it a whirl if I can get hold of a bottle. Have been a bit of a weekend warrior the last couple of days. Delightful in the sunshine but not good for the waist. Nice work on the alcohol free drive.
Yeah. I was genuinely surprised. Will buy it again. As mentioned. Not much hope for the reds but if they’re even passable it’ll be a victory.
Here are the others. Although the Verdejo is for meh mum.
Yesterday had the Le Chouffe but was a bit disappointing, especially given the price premium over the usual suspects over here.
Currently at 2 weeks. Not really done anything for my weight which is a shame but certainly feeling positives on exercise.
Certainly not a permanent plan. The joy of a really good Primitivo or double IPA is too much. Same with whisky/rum where the 0% alternatives might be ok with mixers but not as a neat tipple, but if I can stick to these over the everyday beers/wines and reserve alcohol for the ones I really enjoy it’ll be a good shift.

Its not undrinkable, but its a weird flavour profile.
First IPA of the non alcoholic recent delivery. Not too bad at all. Aroma is amazing which helps a lot to provide the flavour. Still a slight weird bitter aftertaste, but as you're expecting it from the hops anyway it feels a bit more balanced
