Few more NAs from me.
IPA from yesterday. A weird one. Flavour was decent and the choice of hops is usually a go to for me but felt a bit too “west coast” ipa and bitter for me. I great NA choice if you like that style though.

Today’s post run beer. A hoppy lager and actually really good. Think lager lends itself to NA a bit better as they’ve less body/mouth feel anyway. Having the hops really helps this out.

Feeling optimistic about the rest after these. Whilst I still have a craving for a DIPA and might treat myself to a few for the WC final. For general consumption these don’t make me feel I’m missing out on the enjoyable beers.
Last night I also opened a red wine. Was always less confident of those. Opened this Naturel Zero Zero red wine. It’s a bit like previous ones. A bit too sweet and fruity for a wine I’d usually want. Not awful as a drink on its own. Just don’t convince yourself you’re drinking an actual Garnacha red wine.
However whilst browsing Reddit I saw a tip about adding a dash of bitters. Did that on the third glass and it helped a lot to remove the sweetness. Still not convincing myself it’s a Saturday night enjoy yourself red wine but again as an alternative to just drinking water all the time it’s not an awful choice.

(Note. Angostura bitters does contain some alcohol so not an option for people trying to be completely alcohol free)
