The **Now Eating** Thread

That looks so good Monkentage!

My friend from Scotland is down visiting for the weekend and kindly brought me supplies of Square sausage and tattie scones, so this happened:

Messy works Christmas party last night. Had to make amends with a hash brown, black pudding, bacon, egg and cherry tomato sandwich. Phew. Needed that. Now off to a friend's Christmas party :o

My, now weekly, lentil soup.

1 cup of rinsed lentils.
Teaspoon thyme and basil.
1/2 teaspoon of cumin.
3/4 teaspoon of sea salt/black pepper.
1 pint veg stock.
Frozen carrots/peas.
3 frozen broccoli florets.
3 frozen leaf spinach.
Tin chopped tomatoes.
Half an onion.
2 cloves garlic.

Chuck it all in a slow cooker on high for 4 hours.

The McDonalds banoffee pie is special.

I've gone from hardly ever going to McD to going three times this week alone; the Choc orange McFlurry and banoffee pie are goooooooood.

YES! Slice, tattie scone and fried egg! Amazing combo right there! :D

I prefer HP sauce when I'm having egg though :p

He's been planning to come down for a while now, last time I had a Slice was up at his a few years ago so I've been waiting a long time. They are seriously so good, we need them down south!

We don't have any brown in at the moment so had to settle for ketchup, I'll make up for it on the next one :D

I legit was wondering what the blue and green sauces were at first :o:o:(

Haha :p

With family at Highland Angus. Minestrone soup followed by Rump steak, medium rare :)

and that looks like a good steak house, never seen so many onion shoe string thingies or what ever they are called.
