It's part of a traditional Scottish fry up. Unlikely to see it south of the border though.
The patties you put in muffins are not lorne sausage, they’re just a cheap mass produced shaped sausage patty. Lorne sausage is much tastier, and its always square rather than round. Yeah you can, but it won’t have the McMuffin taste your used to. Probably nicer tbh.If I am making it at home, I can't use Lorne sausage?
