The **Now Eating** Thread

Looks good mate. I’ve been putting some Kuhne gherkin relish on my cheese on toast lately, very nice indeed. Gives a nice sweetness to balance the saltiness from the cheese

I upped my cheese on toast game at the weekend. Absolutely rubbish bread, but had 4 courses

1 with worcester sauce
1 with Stokes brown sauce (this stuff is a revelation over HP)
1 with mayo
1 with apricot jab as a dessert course :D

My world famous, homemade, melt in the mouth soft crumb almond macaroon cookies. Made with ground almonds, whipped egg white, icing sugar, almond and vanilla extract and topped with a chopped almond. Baked at 160c for about 15 minutes. :)

Chicken thigh is a great, cheap protein. £3 for 1kg bone in, skin on. Bones can be used for stock etc.

I've just made some curry with some for the next couple days:

Just had the new waffles from McDonald’s, as much as I love the hash browns from McDonald’s, I have to say the waffles are better.

You get 3 for £1.39 or you can include them in a meal but they’re that nice, next time I’ll order 6.

Waffles?? This a new breakfast item? Its once in a blue moon I get a McDonalds breakfast, but I might have to try that sometime.
