I'd go as far as saying it's the best thing on British Indian Restaurant menus but I think a top quality Lamb Rogan Josh might just pip it.

My brother has rogan Josh from the same place everytime, says it’s off the charts good. Never had it myself.

You can tell a lot about an Indian restaurant on the quality of its lamb. Lamb madras for me usually, but I'll give a Joe Rogan a go next time.

Madras will have a kick to it won't it? Rogan done properly will have shed loads of flavour (but not a lot of chilli) which should compliment the lamb. As you say, the quality and cooking of the lamb makes a huge difference.
