@sigma Cheers for the recommendation mate, had a lamb tikka rogan Josh. Beautiful. Lots of flavour.
In the future yes, but not for a while. I like to eat different curries. The only bit about it that I wasn’t too sure about was a hint of sharp sweetness in there, I presume from the tomatoes.Nice one! Guess you'll be having another one in the future then?
Good butter chicken and lamb Rogan is a sign of a decent curry house thumbup.jpeg

My local restaurant says half or whole, served on the bone and marinated in a special yoghurt with spices. All tandoori dishes cooked on charcoal in our special tandoor clay oven.If you like eating chicken on the bone, a tandoori leg cooked properly is divine. It's not a typical curry dish, more the Indian equivalent of a BBQ. The problem is that it's rarely cooked properly these days. It should be well marinated and cooked in the actual tandoor oven, but it rarely is![]()
I get a tandoori chicken 1/4 every single time as a starter, it's beautiful. My local cooks it properly in the tandoor oven like you say.
