Is that lot £20 these days? How rubbery was it? Arm all good now?

I think it was about £24..My burger was dry and they forget the chocolate chips on my drink, but was too tired to go to the counter with my Glock.

Got to go back next week because the wound has opened up a little, which imo is private hospital speak for not putting in enough stitches and getting another £400 :D

£25, equivalent Five Guys probably would be £35-40? Obviously not as convenient and no cheese bites but an actual burger.

Wasn't one on the way, or any similar, which was a shame and the last 2 Five Guys we had were not that impressive and the staff were bordering on the verge of being outright rude.

Difficult when trying to get 20 miles home through road works, road works and more road works, to detour off for something half decent :(

Yeah the food options around here are crap, which is good because it means I don't eat them but when in a rush or with limited time usually I'd rather starve. Last time I reheated a cold KFC it gave me the ****s.

I don't think Fiveguys isn't amazing but it is when compared to Maccys. And I made the comparison purely on a cost basis, Maccys isn't even that cheap any more, nor fast!

Oh and I tried Slim Chickens as well, same old crap really. Nicer than KFC in some ways but no way was it cooked fresh to order, it arrived within 6 minutes and £10 for a small thigh burger, despite being tasty, is not really great. Ordered some strips on the side and they were stringy. Staff were really nice though and even gave me an offer I couldn't refuse, on the strips.
