The **Now Eating** Thread

I would be interested to hear the opinion of someone that struggles with heat, what they rate some of these dishes.

Think it varies Indian to Indian..

My go to was always a Madras, however when I moved house my reliable locals variant of Madras blew my socks off.. I decided to try a Pathia as it’s aimed to be Medium rather than Hot.

Meanwhile all this Curry talk has made me want a consecutive curry night :D

Garlic and Coriander Naan, Paneer Chennai Madras with fresh chopped Coriander with Poppadoms and Onion Bhaji’s.

I plan to try and learn the whole “BIR” style curries.

It does vary, as you say and has been noticeable over the years, which I put down to changing some of the chefs and perhaps people tastes coming around more to flavour than that and heat.
My local place, with Bangladeshi chefs, serves exactly what it states on the menu and you know what you are getting, although like most places, they will scale up or down the heat to your taste on request.

I find Latif a really easy to follow chef.

As part of my continuing therapy after eating an Ikea breakfast at Lakeside, I've taken the 100 mile journey back to try the meatballs and to warn those waiting that the breakfast is awful

Is that Tony’s chocolate good? Better than Cadbury’s or Lindt?

It's the first time.ive had it and wouldn't have chosen the caramel and sea salt, but really enjoyed it

It's "chunky" and different - not sure if better

We have a plain milk one as well I have tried yet but the Mrs said not as nice as the caramel one, will see ....

I like their business model and the way they treat suppliers, but far as chocolate goes it's a bit meh.
