Mincepies in May???A snack for nibbling at work, they were alright but weren't anything special... was expecting them to at least have a little bit of a kick.
Turned some paninis into garlic bread to have with a homemade lasagna for dinner:
Then some homemade mince pies to finish off
Why not? They're simple to make and are a nice little treat to grab on the way out.Mincepies in May???
Excellent idea!Mincepies in May???
you getting a half crispy/ half soggy bite?
No, I pour lots of ketchup over mine to make it look like an erupting volcano.
Jam trifle bun. I couldn't resist. Two buns normally £1.75 reduced to 44p. Plus it makes the thread colourful.
You're nuts man!
I've been inspired to look...https://www.mygfguide.com/gluten-free-wraps/so I did, and guess what, I have just that flour
I can't stand the smell of most GF wraps. But Caputo flour makes all the difference.
Edit: Don't waste your flour, tuff as old boots, I'll go back over this when I get more flour!
Bit of egg white and yeast plus a little rising time may yield a better result is my thinking, I need to test!
