I swear I nearly died once trying to eat Icelands Carolina reaper curry. Like eating a pot of burning coals

When I’m on Holiday from work.. all I can say is challenge accepted.

Can’t wait to crawl into a fetus position shortly afterwards :D

I'm probably not the best to gauge heat as I've spent years eating some right anti social chilli's, but some of those limited number supermarket jobs are just ridiculous willy waving affairs that are made to get the supermarkets name out there.
Am quite happy with the heat of a good Ceylon or Madras tbh

We also have a few degree's of heat difference with the Pathia from time to time.

It can always vary, I can do spice but not comfortably enough to enjoy it (Obviously depending how hot it is) I’ve had Vindaloos at restaurants before and do find them really hot, eye brow sweaters.

Edit: Anyway, let’s change subject as discussing curry at this time on a Saturday evening is dangerous and may result in me being kicked out of the family home :p

You won’t be accepting the challenge as they were limited edition only. Hottest curry they do now is a hot tikka masala. It’s got heat but a million miles from the reaper one. Hottest supermarket curry atm is probably M&S fiery hot tikka masala. It’s got naga chillies in it.

Good to know, saves a wasted visit!

I’ll try the M&S one next time I nip in.
