The **Now Eating** Thread

Ooh! What chillies did you use? I once got everything too hot and made a sort of chilli caramel which was also excellent in a thick gloopy sort of way. Should have given a health warning for the fumes though!

I stayed local so could only get 3 packs of Finger chilli's and 2 packs of Birds eye and used 5 Cardamon pods, 1 Cinnamon stick, 1 bottle of cider vinegar, a coating of caster sugar and 3 slices of lemon.

Might make some more boiled eggs and drop them in...In fact, I'm going to do that now :)

That was the way mine were going and managed to stop them caramelising just in the nick of time and did so through coughing fits..
 

Was the recipe I used, and turned out pretty decent. 2Kg of tomatoes and other ingredients just to "use up" about 8 chilis :D
 
Ended up using a whole bulb of garlic and 6 eggs @tom_nieto
