The **Now Eating** Thread

Really am enjoying the machine. It is really user friendly and haven't got any negatives atm
The OH has used it a few times and found it easy to use and loves having her Mocha at the weekends without having to leave the house.
There's a 20% off voucher on those bags of chips that mention Ninja in the supermarkets (will get brand name later) and if still available brings the price down quite a bit.
That’s half the battle won if the OH likes it.
Unfortunately I had a mad rush of blood to head and popped out at lunch and bought the Sage barista (I incorrectly assumed that John Lewis would stock the Ninja but they don’t).

Am I the only one who puts a sliver of butter on my fruit cake for a bit of slippage.

Mind you, I put butter on everything tbf
I do that, in fact I did last week on some Ms Molly's fruitcake. Worst fruitcake I've ever had, so dry. No wonder it was cheap, but the butter moistened it nicely.

Today, I have something nicer.

Home cooked Ribeye Beef Laksa, with Panda Mini rice cooker rice. (Cheers again Raymond). Having the rice kept warm & ready to go as soon as you finish the main dish makes everything much more stress-free.

The Laksa sauce kit is from The Spice Tailor. I added onions, mushrooms, courgette, baby bok choy.

The slight issue is I under-seasoned it, and the chilli level of the sauce was non-existent - so I should have added more of my own. But it was very tasty.
