Never noticed before how much they do resemble croissant shape. Could also just be an skill issue, I am not the best at making uniform and pretty baked goods. But they do taste very good!

my grandma always used to make a fruitcake every christmas. would take months to do but with a cuppa tea absolute perfection. pretty expensive though if you do it yourself.

The Mrs makes them every year - not "cost effective" but delicious !
