I went to a place who served everything very similar in Manchester and it was simply beautiful! Keep meaning to go back, just to find the time..

Looks nice. Although I normally have rice and/or naan, I don't think there is anything wrong with having potato rather than rice with a curry. However, if you are eating a hot one I find that mashed or baked potato goes better than chips. Save those for your korma and chicken tikka masala.

BBQ planned for a bit later - "celebrate" New Year for the UK at 8.00 (were 4 hours behind) then pootle on down to beach to see in the New Year and hopefully catch some fireworks
