Reminds me of my first ever visit to the Northern Territories (Lancashire) and my shock after being asked by the Chinese lady if I wanted mushy peas or gravy with chips I'd just ordered to go with my Chinese meal.

Mushy peas would have gone OK, but down South that's hardly an option in the take-away.

Curry sauce rice and chips was a thing from my local chippy, I think even battered mars bars and batter coated chips, being offered mushy peas in a chinese ummm NO!

Good, but not amazing. The ones with the filling were better than the ring ones which were a bit dry. I'm yet to have the churo one, but will report back!

The real star of the show was the popcorn milkshake from 5 guys!
