Best meal I have had this summer, smoked chilli cheese, salad, feta with olive oil and spices, and chicken breast from westin gourmet, fried lightly in a tiny tad of butter and chinese marinade.

lol there is not a great deal healthy with that :)

Why not?

Potato's and tomatoes are healthy. I know cheese is a bit unhealthy, but the coleslaw must be OK. Beetroot's good as well. Not sure what the spam stuff is though. Looks like the sort of stuff I use for carp fishing bait.

Because it is quite high calorie.

Baked Potato - ok its a staple and filling but people will argue on the carb front. + Butter... (some threads on that though. :D)
Loads of cheese - high fat (again depends what you're trying to be healthy about)
Coleslaw - high cal - particularly shop bought
Beer Cider - high cal
Ham - ok but can be high fat, high salt
Spam - worse than the ham due to the fat content
Tomato - YAY! (but more sugar than other veg)
Beetroot - YAY! (but more sugar than other veg)

Based on estimates and using MyFitnessPal it is just over 1000 kcal for that meal. 54% fat, 28% carb, 18% protein.

Trying to work out how many kcals in the donner takeaway picture as a comparison.

Cainer, the facebook special was free chicken wings. What a load of rubbish. Some right flaming going on their fb page :D

just been reading the hurt over there :p
i got one of the codes and just tried it but it says its no longer valid, i suppose the code was only valid for 1 evening :/ i was hoping it would stack with the 99p pizza code ive got for today

I hope some time machining is allowed. Never really contributed to this thread, more preferred to watch what Cainer and DJ were contributing.

It defeated me. Wasn't bad value for £12

^^ I bet I could have eaten all that in one sitting :D

Just had a Vesta beef risotto, with some chopped up spicy smoked sausage and mushrooms added to bulk it up a bit.

Still never had one of those munch boxes, damn you northern people. Several lack of sauce on that one though, and where the chicken thing normally in such boxes.

For chicken wings, I recommend the ASDA spicy ones, big and juicy, even the "economy" ones, pretty sure they are 100% the same in a different packaging. Wonderful but I prefer them cooked for longer than the recommended for crispiness! Great on the BBQ too!
