The **Now Eating** Thread

^^ :D lol

I should confess, the only time I eat battered sausages, chips and curry sauce is whenever I work a Saturday dayshift.

The chef cooks a lovely spicy type batter and a curry sauce to match, it's a sin not to eat it. Well it's that or what can only be described as a whole large chicken burger!

It's massive, even cainer could only manage 2!

English chippies are disappointing. Try asking one for chips and cheese. They look at you like your a mental case!

Curry isn't spelt c h e e s e....

Anyway, moving on :p

Last night I made a chilli from a kit I bought at the Borough Market from these guys:

http://www.coolchile.co.uk/products/view/cool-chile-con-carne-kit

It was called the cool chilli kit but I didn't expect it to be as bland as it was - after deseeding 9 dried chillies, toasting them one by one in a dry pan, soaking them, blending them to a puree, sieving it into the rest of the ingredients and cooking for 5 hours, I was really disappointed with the taste. :(

Oh. Right now I'm eating two crumpets with some laughing cow light on. :)

My works canteen was doing a roast beef baguette today, so decided to forgo my homemade sadwhich and have that instead. It comes with mushrooms, onions (which I told them to leave off), gravy and horshradish sauce. It was sensational!!! :D And only £3 too.

Will post a picture of it later when I get home :)
