I concur, plus the ONLY place for chips and curry sauce + any other grub around Belfast is the George/browns/simply fish/ whatever it calls itself these days

If anyone ever stay in belfast and at the hilton, it's literally down the road from you at the market

And for dinner a BBQ chicken cooked and sliced, with some potatoes and veg

Fork tender beef ribs, with a beer and horesraddish reduction (from the stock is cooked in) with a couple of slices of butternut squash.
Hurts to much to stand so couldn't be bothered too do some broccoli.

I still remember when I was in Torquay a few years back that the chip shops there did curry, chips and cheese as a standard late night meal.

Yes you do, beef ribs are amazing. 6hrs in the oven. Out the fork it, let go and the fork falling over pulls massive chucks over.

Where did you get your beef ribs? I got some from my local butcher a few weeks ago and they were awful, they were about 60% fat. They also looked like they had been cut 90 degrees different to yours.
The meat was ok after roasting for 5 hours but it was so difficult to get to is spoilt the dish
