Back from my epic lunchtime treat at Yo Sushi in Glasgow
Started with a couple of ones I'd already tried in York. Spicy chicken iso and chicken katsu. Yummy!
Tried out one of their new Yo Burgers. This one is white fish katsu, topped with a cheese slice and wakame tartar sauce. Served with nori crackers, daikon slaw and misochup. Really enjoyed this! And yes, the "bun" is actually made from rice
Tried one of their specials. Scallop katsu, with wasabi mayonnaise. Expensive, but yummy!
Some tomago, which is an sweet omelette nigiri. A bit unusual with the sweet flavour, but still enjoyable.
Seared beef nigiri, topped with mayo. Have had this one before as well. Nice!
Chicken Teriyaki, in a soy based sauce. Really nice, but I prefer the chicken katsu to this.
And finally some dessert. Couple of familars here. Doroyaki (Japanese pancakes with raspeberry dipping sauce) and Mochi (sweet rice cake balls with a sweet filling) Dipping the mochi into the raspberry sauce was just heaven!!!
*burp* All done! Definetely like Yo Sushi and I would come to the one in Glasgow again, though definetely not on a regular basis. Its a bit more expensive than it should be. My meal came to £37.75. That included £8 for the burger and £6 for the scallop katsu. And £2.25 for a diet coke. Still I dont mind paying money for a decent meal and I certainly had no complaints with this one
