all softened in the pan, then half a carton of passatta and some dried oregano, salt, pepper and a little sugar.

Polish Bigos. Hunter's stew with various stuff in. Mostly cabbage, sauerkraut, bits of polish sausage, tomato, mushrooms... and my mum's special added ingredient of a bit of apricot jam...

Sounds like the grossest thing ever but it's delicious!
