The **Now Eating** Thread

We made a stirfry for dinner. Teriyaki pork, mushrooms, stir fry veggies and noodles in a chow mein sauce. YUMMY! :D

Just had two pieces of Durian fruit. This fruit (size wise - it's just about bigger than my head) cost me £20... I'm guessing there are 6, maybe 7 pieces in this so that works out to be about £2.85/£3.33 per piece. That is one expensive fruit  :o

You either love it or hate it... Some people can't even stand the smell of it, let alone eat it :p The smell is so strong that if you have one at home (opened or unopened) and if someone enters your house they will immediately smell it.

Vomit fruit... Never heard of that one before! It has been described as smelling like cat poo though.. :D again, it's either a love or or hate it fruit. It smells nice to some people, smells horrible to others.

Heeheehe I can't help it if I'm Asian and eat these sort of things :( :p

Have you tried it before then? I remember when I went to Malaysia 6 years ago and tried durian ice cream for the first time.... It's so yum   Durian mochi and durian pancakes are also yum. I'm looking forward to getting home tonight and finishing the remaining half of the durian :D

I've always wanted to try durian fruit. Shame it's so expensive over here. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in one of our local markets for less than that though so maybe I'll get round to picking one up sometime.

The price depends on the weight/size of the durian. The one I picked was probably around 2.5/3kg.

This ons is £37.99
