Just had two pieces of Durian fruit. This fruit (size wise - it's just about bigger than my head) cost me £20... I'm guessing there are 6, maybe 7 pieces in this so that works out to be about £2.85/£3.33 per piece. That is one expensive fruit

The price depends on the weight/size of the durian. The one I picked was probably around 2.5/3kg.I've always wanted to try durian fruit. Shame it's so expensive over here. I'm pretty sure I've seen it in one of our local markets for less than that though so maybe I'll get round to picking one up sometime.
