The **Now Eating** Thread

I made the foundation to my Peanut Butter ice-cream last night. Currently in the fridge cooling down. When I get home it'll be turned into ice-cream, I have enough for 2 tubs, when stirling into the pot I am going to make 1 tub with some Raspberry jam (like a ripple) - Peanut Butter and Jam ice-cream and another tub I am going to layer it with some melted dark chocolate - ala Peanut Butter Vienneta ice-cream.

Can't wait !

It's done now but its hard for photos as it is in a tub lol.

Best when it is out of the tub in a bowl but they are both for my sister so she is taking it home with her.

Before it went in the freezer for the final freeze.

Cream of Asparagus soup.
Fried rib eye steak (rare), with crushed new potatoes, salad and stuffed peppers.
Profiteroles and cream.
Cheese and biscuits.

Had some pheasant breasts in the freezer and fancied doing something a bit different with them. Very nice indeed. As I was eating it, I couldn't help thinking that, nice as it was, the recipe would work brilliantly with pork. I'm going to give it a try sometime with a bit of pork.
