The **Now Eating** Thread

About to be tomato soup. I am on a soup diet (well, that's a lie, I just like soup in winter and the bonus is it's good for you too) until this weekend and Hawkmoor anyway.

Where you get the guiness ones from?
You can keep the marmite.

I fancy chicken, trip to siansburys incoming.

Edit - couldnt find any guiness nuts, did get a whole roast chicken and some chili mayo though.

ASDA, they were 2 for £2 hence the marmite ones too.

The Guinness ones were amazing though. Ever tried Guinness chocolate? A friend bought some for me from Wilkinson's a while back. Seemed a strange combination at first but works really well if you only have one or two pieces.

It'll be interesting compare to the ones from the Far East that's for sure for the Suckling Pig. I think it is a bit short for a tasting menu being 5 courses (biscuits don't count!) for £60 but it includes wine so it's about right.

Grabbed a Slow COoker last night and had quite a feed tonight, with an awful lot leftover for sandwiches over the next few days.

3.5Kg Sainsburys Basics Pork Shoulder
Rub for above overnight marinade: (3 tbsp Salt & Paprika, 2 tbsp Pepper, 1 tbsp Cumin, Cinammon, crushed Mustard Seeds.

Bottle of Sticky BBQ Sauce.
2 Onions sliced roughly.
5 Garlic Cloves choped roughly.
1 Cup Chicken Stock.
1 Cup Aspals Cider Vinegar

12hrs cook time during work on low, pull the pork (and keep eating it :D), 2hrs with BBQ sauce mixed in along with a few ladels of the juices.
