Must get myself a bone-in rib-eye soon, sounds like heaven.

Edit: Having triple cooked chips, courgette sliced in half lengthways and some small flat mushrooms with mine. just waiting for the courgette and mushrooms to finish cooking on the BBQ then it's time to stuff my face.

Mine was a bit of a 'what ever is to hand' and the bone on was just a one off from the butchers this morning, so tender and tasty, I did it this time as the Hawksmoor book, no oil dried on kitchen roll, lots of sea salt and pepper just before cooking, coals could have been hotter as I left them for too long but the steak was fantastic, there's no way I'm oiling a steak again, what a revelation :)

Oddly enough, my coals weren't as hot as they could have been as well although it turned out quite decent despite that. Last time I cooked a steak on a properly hot BBQ without oiling, it formed a nasty 'skin' that was unpleasant - maybe it was just the steak.
