As I mentioned before, working offshore doesn't have to mean poor food. Yesterday I had wholemeal toast (made with freshly baked bread), smoked salmon and poached eggs for breakfast. For lunch I had delicious lemon sole Florentine with mashed tatties and green beans. For dinner I had very tasty chicken satay with peanut sauce and rice.
Many of the rigs I've worked on have appalling food but this one is excellent. All offshore catering companies should send their cooks here to see how it should be done.
