Lots of Etailers, few market stalls, odd shops in towns etc. Got a few foodie friends that occasionally exchange 'care packages with'

Been down the Grand Union pub tonight for a pals birthday (early drink before weekend as his birthday is today) and just got back with a lamb shish and chips and a pot of hammonds burger sauce, it has to be hammonds, that cheap crap a lot of kebabs shops sell is rank!

Ironic really with the delicacies you have posted on here I think a lot of us would feel the same as you do about that
Mind you when I was in Thailand we did eat some strange food which did was odd to look at but when tatsed was scrummy.

Made a lamb breast stew for tea. Lamb breast, carrots, tatties, neeps, onions, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and water. Bung in a slow cooker for 10 hours on low (add a handful of chopped parsley half an hour before the end) - bosh, tasty and cheap meal.
Made soda bread to soak up the broth with.
