The **Now Eating** Thread

How do you just 'pop' over to Belgium lol? How long does it take?

~100mi drive to Folkestone to the Eurotunnel, then ~35mi drive from Calais to Belgium,
its all motorway driving so not long, its well worth it as the bakkie is less than a 3rd of the UK price and diesel is only 82p per litre ;)

ontopic, croissants :)

Went for a Papa Johns myself tonight, £10 off £25 spend.

Medium thin stuffed crust Sausage & Pepperoni.
variety box with wedges and chicken wings
Chocolate lava thing whatever it's called (sponge and sauce)
few dips all £15.

Post pics when it arrives!

Home made southern-fried chicken for me. Not healthy in the slightest but....so good.

I have no pic of the barm with mayo and scotch bonnet sauce that I ate mine on but here's some of the left over chicken:

I was definitely inspired by it ;)

It was a pretty similar recipe I followed to be honest. I just didn't have time to do a full overnight marinade in butter milk and I mixed up the spices a little.

A lot of my cooking does tend to be inspired by whatever was on SE most recently. Even if I don't use their exact recipes you can usually tell what was on the site just by what I eat a week later :p
