A lovely roast beef dinner with all the trimmings, not had a roast for ages and it was absolutely amazing.. might have a kip now!

Just baked another awesome baguette. Having an oven that actually works after so long is a bit of a revelation.
Threw together a quick beef shin stew today. Bubbled away for 4 hours with pre cut veg packs.
Absolutely beautiful. Kids wolfed down the lot.

Beef shin is awesome - second only to ox cheek when making stew.
Though I need to play around with oxtail some more before I decide what I like most.
