The **Now Eating** Thread

I had a pig-out day yesterday as well. Was going on a pub crawl in Carlisle so decided to have a large Wetherspoons breakfast before I left (+ 2 breakfast pints). I got hungry around tea time so I nipped into a handy chippy and got myself a haggis supper. That along with about 14 pints and some tandoori chicken fillets when I got home makes me feel like this today :o

Had lunch at Bread Meats Bread in Glasgow. Had the Pepperoni burger. Comes topped with slices of pepperoni, mozzarella, pizza sauce and shavings of parmesan inside a garlic brioche bun. Also had a small poutine. First time trying this. Really good with the cheese curds and the beef gravy!

I want to go back and try some of their other stuff though, like the pulled pork topped burger or the cheese steak sandwich! :)
 
Considering how hungry I am and the fact I have no food in the house, I shouldn't be looking at this thread. There is a takeaway 5 minutes away but it's not great. Laziness will probably win out in the end though. :o
 
Oh my god! Just had a powdered blueberry doughnut I got from Krispy Kreme's. I swear the "filling" was a tiny little spot of blueberry sauce in the middle. Barely enough to wet your fingertip. And it tasted FOUL! Like not cooked properly.

Took a photo and put in a complaint. First bad doughnut I've bought from them, but definitely not happy! :(

No pic because I was more interested in eating it, but had a nice pepperoni pizza over the weekend.

Local place. Not only are their sizes bigger than Dominos, but they're cheaper and honestly just as good if not better (so much peperoni!). I also got a free garlic pizza bread which was lush.

Not sure how places like Dominos gets custom when local independent places give you this much value and good nosh.
