**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Always latest stable version for me.

But whats the point if driver does not say new feature or performance upgrade?

Back in the day almost every driver would come with a few percent improvement in this game or that. Now you get fixes for things that do not apply to hardware configuration you have or games you are not playing.

I just update when needed. Like recently for example I got Dying Light The Beast. That said my driver was too old and to update. Just in time with the new DLSS4.5 update :D

Up to date game support and bug fixes.

I guess you do play new games all the time so probably more relevant to you. But if I have not installed a game that is newer than the drivers I have, then I don't bother as it doesn't make sense. No point updating and potentially creating a headache imo.

Especially now that they keep having so many issues and hotfixes due to getting ai to make their drivers

Everything i've read or seen about this new driver and DLSS 4.5 update has been pretty negative, it's all getting rather confusing for gamers.

Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Use DLSS 4 if you don't have a 4 or 5 series card.

For 4 and 5 owners, use L and ultra performance if you're targeting 4K, M and performance for everything else.

I stand to be corrected, of course.
