365.10 Drivers

Can confirm SLI seems to be working now on Gears of War: Ultimate Edition

Strange because the game doesn't have 'Exclusive Fullscreen' but MSI Afterburner shows both GPU's at approx 75% usage (graph, not OSD) and the in game benchmark is getting locked 90fps pretty much at 1440p with Highest settings (4k textures)

I feel sorry for your IT Learn to understand uac and use it To your advantage. Watch and learn from the Microsoft semnairs. In a office environment it's less needed to have UAC however it's your first defense In protecting your PC & network

For example I could walk up to one of your PC's copy a file to their c:/ sub directories with UAC off then at a later date via cmd/powershell send a request to start that application in the background, now if your lucky enough hour security will stop it but if it's known yet your infected or worse it's not nailcous but dam right annoying issue to investigate. A person could even send it to every PC with no UAC rights

I admit w7 version of UAC takes some time to configure correctly but use your first defense wisely.

Sorry but I disagree. I've not had it on for years. At work its not been turned on ever since they had Win7 which is before my time. Thats about 5 years. We've had no issues where UAC being off is to blame. If you have other security measures in place you dont need UAC.

First off all our users dont have local admin so your first point is invalid. It also not your first defence. You couldnt walk upto any of our PC's because you wouldnt know how to log in. They auto lock after 10 minutes. Even if you did find one unlocked you couldnt copy anything to C:\ because your are not local admin and GPO stops you. Thats providing you could get in the building.

UAC is a nuisance because when it pops up users log calls with the Support Desk complaining this message keeps appearing. In fact in the last 5-10 years the companies I have worked for dont have UAC on.

At home its a mute point either because you are less likely to get attacked and providing you have a decent AV suite and firewall and dont do silly surfing it can stay off. Just my opinion and from my experience.

I gingerly installed 365.10 drivers tonight and I am happy so far with them, mostly because none of my hardware has been killed. :D

The below are benchmark results from my GTX 660, with default settings for graphics and benchmarks.

ive just installed the 365's

Actually seem decent, got some extra points in 3DMark, games are doing well, nothing idiotic worth mentioning.

Ill give them a real good workout later tonight, but so far so good.

now to test 4K Gsync!
