Still no fix for high idle clock rates (1Ghz) at 1440p/144Hz on my 1070
(Note that the setting desktop to 120Hz fix doesn't work properly, as many games won't use the preferred 144Hz option, rendering this 'fix' useless).

Have you guys tried setting the desktop to 60?
that's pointless because some games only read the desktop refresh rate so you can't go over that in game, for now i've set mine at 120hz and my 980ti downclocks now to 135mzh saving me a lot of cash on electric when idling.
Does fast sync work with SLI?

I just adaptive vsync for all my games and turn vsync off in game, works a treat and removes stutter
Can confirm this, shame really would've been something new to play with
