**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I upgraded as a 5090 FE owner. Seems to lower the min fan speed from 1200 to 1100 and goes to the 0rpm fan stop mode quicker.

Shame my UE games need to rebuild all their shaders. Stutter struggle has resumed.

A lot of people are saying this new driver has fixed BF2042.
It maybe worth re-installing it after using DDU or something
Oh, I assumed it wasn't since it's still on the open issue list.
I'll give it a try thanks :)

*Edit* Updated the driver but the bug remains.
However, I only updated not reinstalled so might try that.

The latest version of profile inspector revamped has a dedicated section to globally or individually set the overrides, more reliable than NV App and it injects the latest DLL effectively too as long as you have the latest drivers installed.

If a game isn't using the latest Preset K or Transformer model if it's a DLSS4 game out of the box then check the individual NVPI profile for it instead of global as one of the overrides may be off or something.

When you say framerate graph do you mean the frametime? Games that use DLSS4 will show the graph really high but this is a visual bug and nothing to do with actual frametime as the numerical figure will be low as expected. It's a DLSS 4 <> RTSS bug.

i said frametime not framerate, it was showing 2x 566.36 and felt noticably worse in game than the 566.36 showed and felt

I can't see where to get this, the github still has 2.4.0.19 on the releases page https://github.com/Orbmu2k/nvidiaProfileInspector/releases

Revamped has its own github!

Be aware that NVApp can mess with your manual settings as I have found with Doom Eternal wondering why it was defaulting to Preset K on some loads, which now explains the noisy denoising I was seeing yesterday as it wasn't using Transformer/Preset K model.

Now that I have figured what was going on, RR is now perfect and more detail is seen in the game, phew!
