**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

I had this ..109 update. I can’t seem to uninstall it.

I’ve not checked the main machine, just the sim rig.

I don’t think I’m affected… is that likely?

Lots reporting fan control issues with this driver (1 out of 3 fans spinning). Seems to particularly affect those using fan curve control via Afterburner.

yeah, I tested my RTX5090 which uses the "quiet bios" on the card... HWInfo shows 1 fan, but all 3 spin. You can probably fix Afterburner by putting fans back to Auto

Wow... really, really glad I got home from work in time to miss this one. If Nvidia actually pulled a driver, after the crap they've been willing to get stay live since January 2025...

Yeah they've all been pulled, It's ironic that Nvidia now make drivers with the assistance of their super duper mega awesome AI so you'd think they would have the resources to thoroughly test them prior to release, Apparently not.
 
February 26th, 11am PT Update: We have discovered a bug in the Game Ready and Studio 595.59 WHQL drivers and have removed the downloads temporarily while our team investigates. For users that have already installed this driver, and are experiencing issues with fan control, please roll back to 591.86 WHQL. NVIDIA app users can reinstall their previous driver by clicking the three dots in the Drivers tab.

This is why I no longer jump on the latest releases, Since Nvidia's drivers are apparently mostly made with AI and zero testing prior to release they have become major suckage.
