**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

The driver caused huge performance regressions on RTX4000 series cards:

"DDU'd and installed 576.88. This is literally the opening scene on the street, max settings, PT enabled:

591.86: 74 fps with DLSS P and 2X FG, around 304W average GPU power draw

576.88: 118 fps with DLSS P and 2X FG, around 405W average GPU power draw"

So is it only the 40 series cards ? What about the 30 and 50 series ? Must be some sort of "bug" and another Hotfix coming.

What's the best driver version for the 5090 out of interest? I've always been one to just update to the latest driver regardless but from doing abit of research over the last week or so i may need to stop doing it.

We need the big tech tubers to get in on this so Ngreedia fix this. (remove the intentional nerf of the 4000 series)

Should get the same perf between the older ones, studio or not.
That wouldn't fit with their narrative. They want you to buy new products and anything to make them look way better than the previous card.

Ah no I was referring to Studio vs GameReady, GRD can often have more bugs as they are fasttrack releases whilst Studio undergoes a lot more testing whilst still having all the GRD features for game support etc.

Nvidia have updated this article to say the new drivers have been fixed and that they have been released. But I can't find them on the main website as of yet.

Likely won't get fixed for either 4000 or 5000 series, If they take away performance every few drivers then by the time late 2027 comes and the 6000 series is released the new cards will look massively better.

Tin foil hattery ? Yes, But this is Nvidia, Jensen is a scumbag.
