**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

No issues with flicker on my LG 48" c2 with these drivers, thats using an RTX 5090, I do sometimes have to power off the screen and back on though on first boot for the PC to be detected,
Anyone had such an issue?

Any news on the new Transformer model Ray Reconstruction release yet? Nvidia said would be in August, anyone heard owt?

007 First Light is getting a path tracing update which will likely be shown around Gamescom, I'd wager RR 4.5 will be used to showcase it so all being well around the end of the month for 2nd gen RR.

If your system has been playing up for that long, you should probably throw it away and buy a new one :D
This is from some debug reports on reddit from multiple testers. Nvidia are stating its intentional, so there is a disagreement. My system is ok, as I was lucky to read these reports, so never updated to the broken drivers.

I recently switched to the Studio drivers and a few graphical glitches, in Horizon Forbidden West cut scenes, have gone.

I have a global fps cap in Nvidia driver at 237fps (3fps below my max refresh) and form there I just use either ingame fps cap if available or RTSS.

You can also use the Nvidia driver to cap on a per game basis but that means going into the app to change it any time you want to test stuff out whereas RTSS is a keyboard shortcut and ingame is done in game.

Otherwise yes global Vsync off, Gsync off and max framerate 3fps below your monitor's max to prevent any chance of overshoot.

Doesn’t that go against the pretty well established ‘global VSYNC on, off in game’ that I’ve seen just about everywhere??

At least that’s how I’ve been doing it for years and no problems here. Oh wait it’s because you turn GSYNC off, nvm.

So NVIDIA discontinued the control panel since 610.47. Any way to enable G-Sync without having to install the new NVIDIA App?

Why wouldn't you install the new app?

It does everything and more than the old version, faster too.

And this is coming from someone who avoided the new app like the plague when it first came out.
