Unlucky you fair weather bikers didn't join us, we had a good laugh.
It was short and sweet, I met up with the group about 10 minutes late and we ordered the food. Over lunch we discussed bikes, bits, the forum, the weather and tried to figure out why we ended up with 12 gallons of chips on our table.
After lunch, we made our way outside and saddled up (well I got into my warm cabin and put on my finest driving mix..."And you come to me on a summer breeze...") then made our way out to a little stretch of new road that Luke had specced out earlier.
I parked up and whipped out the biggun, which really impressed the boys and then they rode off looking like oversized power rangers on crotch rockets.
A few minutes later, they came zooming past me at what must have been at least 30 mph officer, and I clicked away to my hearts content.
After a good 15-20 minutes of snapping, they all pulled in and we joked about how we'd have the police down in a while. So off they went again after a small rest and sure enough, sirens were heard and colons were expanded.
I didnt see where the panda car had passed the bikers, but I saw it come hooning round the bend, so I did my best "I'm just taking photos of these weeds by the side of the dual carriageway officer" pose.
Sure enough, he wan't there for us, but that didn't stop one of the group hooning along the M1 until he reached Milton Keynes. (We've still not heard from him)
To end off the day, we pulled in to a side road leading in to a hotel and had a natter and some posing was done by most (apart from us manly ones *cough*).
