***The OcUK Bikers meet 2006. 12th of August***

First home :D

Todays meet was a bit smaller than planned with only 5 members turning up, 4 bikes and 1 car. We had a nice lunch and a good laugh, went for some pics I am sure MrSix will be along shortly with a particular pic... :D

Unlucky you fair weather bikers didn't join us, we had a good laugh.

It was short and sweet, I met up with the group about 10 minutes late and we ordered the food. Over lunch we discussed bikes, bits, the forum, the weather and tried to figure out why we ended up with 12 gallons of chips on our table.

After lunch, we made our way outside and saddled up (well I got into my warm cabin and put on my finest driving mix..."And you come to me on a summer breeze...") then made our way out to a little stretch of new road that Luke had specced out earlier.

I parked up and whipped out the biggun, which really impressed the boys and then they rode off looking like oversized power rangers on crotch rockets.
A few minutes later, they came zooming past me at what must have been at least 30 mph officer, and I clicked away to my hearts content.

After a good 15-20 minutes of snapping, they all pulled in and we joked about how we'd have the police down in a while. So off they went again after a small rest and sure enough, sirens were heard and colons were expanded.

I didnt see where the panda car had passed the bikers, but I saw it come hooning round the bend, so I did my best "I'm just taking photos of these weeds by the side of the dual carriageway officer" pose.

Sure enough, he wan't there for us, but that didn't stop one of the group hooning along the M1 until he reached Milton Keynes. (We've still not heard from him)

To end off the day, we pulled in to a side road leading in to a hotel and had a natter and some posing was done by most (apart from us manly ones *cough*).

I'm not a FWB - but if I'm going out to have fun, I don't want to do it in the rain. :) However I now have the choice to go in the car or in the bike if the weather is crap ;)

Still gutted I didn't make it though - looked fun.

Hiya fellas - had a good laugh - wasnt so much a blast out as a social - which ws good fun - nice bunch of fellas.

Cracking photos MrSix - real nice - in fact would it be possible to zip up and email (in chunks maybe?) the decent photos you have of my bros bike? he's quite taken with them! ([email protected])

as for another one - sounds great, would have to check dates, and a few more would be nice. Perhaps best not to jump down a motorway at the 1st sight of police tho, altho i suppose the free coke softened the blow!

I've got them all in a RAR file if you'd like to print them out - it's 80mb because they're all full size.
You can crop them, print them etc, but just please don't use them for publications or anything that isn't personal use :D
